What is one life experience you have that voters should know about?
I am African, Haitian, & Cherokee Indian, born and raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. I am a proud Granddaughter of two (2) Purple Heart 💜 recipients and both wounded War Veterans. Besides child bearing, another one of my greatest awards is having the strength, good health, resilience, tenacity, and desire to help others (ALL MY LIFE). I find it amusing and joyous to witness and partake in helping others gain and/or restore the best quality of life for themselves. I saved one of my 6th grader’s life. I intervened in his attempt to commit suicide in my classroom’s coat closet. He, my classroom (his peers), & I sat and discussed his situation and like situations as a family. They were (Still) my children and I was their Mother away from home. After listening to him intensely and discovering the reason why (poor hygiene, lack of support and encouragement, poor academic performance, victim of bullying, no friends, & hunger issues, etc. he decided to end his life.

EQUITY IS NEEDED TO COMBAT, DECREASE, & MANAGE CRIME!!!
1. CRIME & SAFETY It’s like a Transformer. It has various components. All components are needed to operate simultaneously to produce a more effective outcome. A. CRIME & SAFETY B. MENTAL HEALTH/HEALTH C. EDUCATION: Advocate that Legislation MANDATE that our children are educated and receive the same QUALITY EDUCATION as the privileged and in surrounding counties D. EMPLOYMENT I will work extremely hard at securing funds and more funds for programs that already exist. In addition, I will work with any Councilman/woman who already secured funds for a program to enhance the program for a better outcome. CONTINUATION #1 I invested more in him as a person. I met my baby (student) where he was at. In doing so, his self-esteem was augmented, he engaged more in classroom activities and with his peers, and his grades improved throughout the rest of the school year. Most importantly, my baby never spoke of any more suicidal ideations/attempts.

TRANSPARENCY, HONESTY, INTEGRITY, & CONSISTENCY Please note that this is not a comparison of myself to other candidates or anyone else. However, this is simply what attributes that I possess.
How do you plan to work across ideological lines to achieve shared goals?
At times, I may not agree with my colleagues, but I am ready, willing, open to listen, and willing to collaborate with the Body of Council to enact Laws that will enhance the quality of life for all Philadelphians.
